Lawrence Avenue Streetscape - Groundbreaking Ceremony

Emily Lauer, Bea Tersch, and Dana Dougherty represented GRO at the groundbreaking ceremony for the Lawrence Streetscape on December 10, 2022. Bea is pictured top right in the red cap.

Rudy Flores from the Lincoln Square-Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce and 40th Ward Alder Andre Vasquez addressed the group briefly to kick off this long-awaited project.

Volunteering in our committees is a 2-3 hour per month commitment. Please join us in making the neighborhood even better by volunteering with any urban development project. In addition to the big projects above, we get asked to review affordable housing developments in and surrounding the neighborhood.
