Summer Garden Walk
Saturday, July 18th, 11am-3pm
The Greater Rockwell Garden Walk is returning for its 2nd year! Whether you have a garden to show off or want to get some inspiration from your neighbors, we hope you'll join us on Saturday, July 18th from 11am-3pm!
Interested in opening up your garden to the community? Back yards, front yards, side yards, parkways, corners, rooftops, container gardens...if you love it, we want to see it! Garden walk hosts will be invited to a 'VIP hour' from 10-11am to access each other's gardens before other visitors arrive. Register your garden here by July 1st.
Just want to be a spectator this year? Stop by Waters Elementary School & Community Garden anytime between 11am-2:30pm to pick up a map of the gardens and fuel up with refreshments. Curate your walk to your interests by looking at each garden's special features on the map. This is a rain or shine event so dress for the weather! $10 suggested donations are much appreciated and will go toward GRO's continuing efforts to 'green' the community and toward local nonprofits.
